I have a Bob Sharp Racing parts catalog from 1982 that introduces the valve cover for the first time and says the valvecover will be available 5/82. So this should put to rest that they were used on the cars in the 70′s. I seriously doubt that the BSR race team ever used them on the racecars- it was strictly a catalog ordered accessory for street cars. At most could have been on the racecar mid year 82 and the 83 season. Anybody have any ideas of how many were made and sold?
