Descriptions:
Reducing the weight of the valve train is essential for increasing the RPMs of the A-type engine. This lifter has been made 24g lighter by adopting a hollow design, which is the most effective way to reduce weight. In addition, the diameter of the cam contact surface has been designed to be large, which increases the effective contact area when using a high-lift cam, improving track-ability and durability. The two independent atoms of the lifter shaft and head are fused together by a method called pressure welding. The contact surface of the camshaft is buffed to improve surface roughness, and then a manganese phosphate coating is applied. This improves oil film retention and strengthens wear resistance.
