Attention customers: Door body side weather strips fit perfectly if you follow the instruction below:
- Adjust the door hinges, strikers, rod and linkage for inner and outer door handles so that the door is actually in the middle of body side door opening.
- After installation, please keep the door shut in warm temperature until weather strips seat. It could take few months to settle.
- If you are doing door off restoration, test fit the weather strip with door latch, striker, inner and outer door handle with rod and linkage, door panels, quarter windows, and window frame during body work
- Many customers who claim fitment issues have issues with door to body alignment.
