- The manufacturer of this cable produces it for multiple applications. The grommet they currently include has too large of a diameter (31 mm Diameter grove) for the factory opening in your Z's firewall (the image above shows an earlier, smaller grommet that is not currently available). You can still use the included grommet for sealing by securing it to the firewall with adhesive (our weatherstrip cement for instance). Please give us a call if you have any questions.
